Jewish Studies Graduate Student Association at the UW-Madison
The Jewish Studies Graduate Student Association at UW-Madison is an organization open to graduate students with an interest in Jewish Studies, broadly defined. We sponsor academic, social, and professional development opportunities, including a Jewish Studies reading group, BrownBag Luncheons with visiting scholars, coffee hours, etc. We aim to enhance the intellectual community among Jewish Studies scholars and those in related disciplines on the UW-Madison campus.
The growing community of grad students interested in Jewish Studies at the UW-Madison relaunched the JSGSA this Spring 2018 semester. Our association plans to gather interested students this term and begin to build our community. Plans for the Spring and Fall 2018 semesters include the possibilities of a BrownBag event and colloquia on graduate work in Jewish Studies.
