2008/2009 - Steven Nadler is currently chair of the Department of Philosophy and is the William H. Hay II Professor of Philosophy and the Max and Frieda Weinstein/Bascom Professor of Jewish Studies. His book, Spinoza’s Ethics An Introduction, was published this year by Cambridge University Press. He is also the co-editor of The Cambridge History of Jewish Philosophy from Antiquity through the Seventeenth Century, for which he contributed the essay “Providence and Theodicy”.
