2008 / 2009 - Ronald Troxel (Hebrew and Semitic Studies/Religious Studies) recently published a monograph on the Greek translation of the book Isaiah, LXX-Isaiah as Translation and Interpretation (E. J. Brill), which will be reviewed in a panel discussion at the 2008 meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature in Boston. He has also recently written an article on detecting the ideology of the translator of Greek Isaiah that will appear in an edited volume, published by Peeters. His major writing project, however, is an introductory textbook on how the prophetic books were written, to be published by Blackwell.
