2008 / 2009 - Claudia Card (Emma Goldman Professor of Philosophy) taught “Moral Philosophy and the Holocaust” (Jewish Studies 442, cross-listed with philosophy) for the third time in the Fall semester 2006-07. She is also a member of the Environmental Studies, Women’s Studies, and LGBT Studies programs. Her latest book is Genocide’s Aftermath: Responsibility and Repair (Blackwell 2007), coedited with Armen Marsoobian. Other recent works include The Atrocity Paradigm: A Theory of Evil (Oxford 2002) and The Cambridge Companion to Simone de Beauvoir (2003). She was a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Research in the Humanities from 2002-2007 and is currently on sabbatical (2008-09) writing a book (for Cambridge) on responding to atrocities and another (for Blackwell) that will be an introduction to feminist philosophy.
