The Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies is pleased to make our lectures available to the public through a series of free audio podcasts, available for download through iTunes. When you subscribe to our free podcasts, new episodes will automatically download to your computer, allowing you to listen to our lectures at your leisure. When you access our podcasts through iTunes, you also have the option of downloading individual lectures. We will begin offering podcasts on a monthly basis, with the hope of increasing their frequency in 2012.
To subscribe:
1. Download iTunes if you do not already have it on your computer. It’s a free download.
2. Visit UW–Madison on iTunes U. You will be directed to open iTunes.
3. After iTunes opens, you should automatically be routed to the UW–Madison page for iTunes U. If so, proceed to Step 5. If not, proceed to Step 4.
4. If steps 2 and 3 fail to open iTunes U, open the iTunes application directly. Select “iTunes U” at the top of the page. Then, under “iTunes U Quick Links” on the right side, select “Universities and Colleges.” An alphabetical list of Colleges and Universities will appear. Select University of Wisconsin–Madison from the list. (Note that we’re listed under “U” for “University,” rather than “W” for “Wisconsin.)
5. From the UW–Madison iTunes U page, scroll down to “What’s New” to find the Center for Jewish Studies podcast.
6. Click “subscribe.”
